Q. Are you a member of a professional organisation?
A. Yes, we are a member of the Institute Of Videography, we are one of the very view
of it’s members based in N.Ireland that has been granted with an accredited master
membership award status. Our work has been assessed and passed by a panel of professional
judges at the Institute Of Videography local ‘Press Release’
Q. How do you work?
A. We are very discreet in how we film, we understand that both the Bride and Groom can get very nervous on the day, we take an unobtrusive approach helping us to capture more natural looking and candid scenes.
Q. Do you use lighting at the service?
A. Not normally , this is not always allowed during the service and can distract, the camera equipment we use have been renowned for their ability to perform well under poorly lit conditions, It may however in most cases be necessary to use some limited lighting for the speeches later in the day as the natural light is fading.
Q. Do you carry spare equipment on the day ?
A. Yes, we carry two high quality 3-
Q. Can we select the music for our video?
A. Yes, We have an extensive music library, as well as a list of the most popular
choices from which to choose, or you may provide your own special songs.
Q. Do you use wireless microphones?
A. Yes, to ensure high audio quality, a tiny wireless lapel microphone is discreetly worn by the groom to pick up the wedding vows. The Bride and Groom never have to worry about being caught saying something private to each other! Only the audio from the official wedding vows is taken, the microphone is removed from the Groom directly after the ceremony. Use is made of this system later in the evening for the speeches.
Q. Will our wedding DVD have chapters so we can easily navigate to different segments of the wedding day?
A. Yes. We include chapter points every 5mins into your DVD making it possible to skip ahead or back to different key points of the day, we also include scene selection thumbnails which can be accessed from within a professionally designed and fully interactive personalised DVD menu with full live motion features, these scene selections are a great way to jump directly to specific parts of your day.
Q. Will our videographer be suitably dressed?
A. Yes, to help preserve the dignity of the occasion the videographer will be dressed suitably.
Q. Do we need to provide a meal for the videographer?
A. This is not expected although it is apprenticed if a meal can be provided for the videographer as they are typically around for 12 to 14 hours of your day, Some hotels will cater for a videographer and have them eat elsewhere keeping them informed of proceedings. Some people may decide that the videographer should provide their own meal. In this case, make sure everyone understands where they are to eat. Remember, it’s your wedding, and you’re paying for the videographer. Whatever you decide will be alright, so long as the videographer knows well in advance what to expect before your wedding day.
Q. Why does it take so long to get my wedding DVD?
A. Do you really want something as meaningful as your wedding day thrown together in a couple of weeks? We spend quality time, ironing out every possible small detail so your final production is flawless and exactly what you're looking for.All our projects get the time, dedication and attention they deserve. The average turnaround time can be anything from 6 to 12 weeks, during the peek season this can take a little longer.
Q. Do you charge for travel?
A. No we do not charge for travel as many others do.
Q. Are there any hidden costs?
A. No. We do not have any hidden charges or extra costs in any of our packages, the prices quoted and agreed upon are final and no additional costs will arise, You do however have the option to upgrade your chosen package at any time.
